Electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Cerner/Oracle Health have been the corner stone in providing vital medical record keeping and access for millions of physicians world-wide. Interacting via graphical user interface has been the norm—although recent innovations such as dictation, ambient listening, and clinical automation have begun to automate aspects of EHR systems. However, they are largely siloed technologies; that limits its efficiency and user experiences, leading to limited productivity gains and user experiences. In this session, we will introduce the latest innovation in EHR by introducing a new multi-modal user experience that seamlessly blends GUI, conversational AI, clinical automation, voice/dictation, and ambient listening for physicians and nurses.
